Deb McCormick
Founder & Lead Strategist
Deb McCormick is the founder of TeamedUP Consulting and a trusted Strategic Thinking Partner to leaders, founders, and executive teams navigating growth, change, complexity, and critical decisions.
For more than 35 years, she has helped organizations align people, strategy, and execution to achieve meaningful business results. Her clients range from emerging startups to Fortune 100 companies, where she is valued for her ability to simplify complex challenges, surface underlying issues, and create clarity that drives confident decisions, stronger execution, and measurable outcomes.
Known for blending strategic insight with a deep understanding of human behavior, Deb helps leaders address not only the business challenges in front of them, but the people dynamics that often determine success or failure. She believes that even the best strategies fall flat when the human dynamics underneath them are ignored.
Prior to founding TeamedUP Consulting, Deb served as Director of Organizational Effectiveness with HDI Consulting and as a Senior Leadership Consultant within Johnson & Johnson's internal consulting organization, supporting leaders and teams through major organizational initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and large-scale change efforts.
Earlier in her career, Deb held leadership positions with McKesson Corporation and CORT Furniture's commercial division, where she built and led high-performing teams, turned around underperforming markets, opened new territories, and drove business growth. Combined with her experience as a successful entrepreneur and small business owner, she brings both strategic perspective and practical business experience to every engagement.
At the core of Deb's work is a simple belief: most high-capacity people don't need more information, intelligence, talent, drive, or opportunity. They need more clarity. Through strategic advising, leadership development, and executive team alignment, she helps leaders, founders, teams, and growth-oriented individuals gain clarity about who they are, what matters most, and what comes next—so they can move forward with confidence and achieve measurable results.
Get Clear. Get Aligned. Get Moving.
